The store gave me another one. It was all good. Untill now, 10 months later, I have now a leaking pixels (when display colors, it looks like dotted display. Many other Legion 5 display start to surface... Machine is great. Display though.. such a shame.

Yes, I got very lucky. My chance of find a gold coin was totally wasted. Urgh! - The store gave me new one and now I'm 1000% enjoying this machine.

Yes, in few hours Im going to return it. Just a very unique flaw that I failed to find similar one in this model or any other monitor ever.

Two things to have it fixed: add some vibration dumper in the structure (concrete/plaster), lay the machine in a solid base (not a glass top table like me - I did just to enhance the issue), add a rubber pad. Second it is about electronic: microstep is your friend to have smooth machine. It is not about resolution, but vibration. Trinamic boards nowadays is awesome. I wish it was a affordable thing back in 2012 (year of this video)

@@FredSena no I mean that jaws that your lathe uses, I just bought a taig lathe as well from a second hand shop but the Chuck isn't reversible like yours

This is a lovely TAIG Lathe (taigtools . com) The motor is behind the white plastic " wall" sheet. A big motor :) I wish the motor would be just the small black box.

It was a CD cover plastic. Laser still very weak and material cheap china plastic BLACK. so... besides this demo, it can't do much.

Dude, It was in 2008 ! I can't go back in time. chill :) besides I didn't want work all way to just use laser. It was a quick & dirt test.

This what I've done is more a sculpture/toy than a functional lathe. Cheap things cost a lot! I advice to save some money and make/buy a good one, it shall last longer and even possible to sell later if you will. If you plan just have fun, do like I did here... random parts together and make some plastic dusts :)

@@FredSena thanks for reply friend I m brass jewellery manufacturer and in India mini lath cost 40 to 50 thousands or more But there after a buy lath i need to make some nessesory parts for use that cost 4 to 5 thousand If I make bench ,with Chuck,middle slide and last slide it cost me maximum 5 to 7 k only. Here separate parts of lath are available Anyway thanks for your reply 👍

Yesn't. Wiring is correct. But that wasn't the main problem. These fake Omnibus never worked as supposed. I had 4 of them. All with random defects.

It was made with Microscope Nikon SMZ18. I adapted a camera Nikon 5100 to make the video here.

Right after watch your video, I made this as a proof of concept for TinyWhoops. So far I didn't do anything else, but winter with it's darkness are coming to Moscow soon. And then I will work on this game more. I'd like to see a compilation of who made this too =)

exaggerating? Not at all :) It was almost all fail over 4 days or riding. That was a master school for me. This year none of these happened. Now I laugh hard watching it. It is all pure joy =D

Eventually yes, I did. I wrote new OSD fonts and it made the trick - BUT, I bought 4 Omnibus from BG - all pure trash. OSD, white smoke out of nothing, just avoid BG Omnibus. They are all bad fake copies. I moved to BG Matek and they are original and working fine for months now.

Yes, after this video i manage to fix it. But sadly all clone Omnibus from Banggood are faulty. they burn before any fun. Matek are original (so far) and holding well.
